Artist from Urnieta. She was born in San Sebastián on 27 March 1937 and died in Urnieta on 27 December 2005.

She began to sing in Basque in 1964. Her songs in Basque on the guitar dealing with topical news subjects generated a real sensation. They were the start of the new Basque music.
